fellowsInterventional Cardiology Fellows are invited to this educational program focused on fundamentals of Interventional Cardiology and both basic and complex coronary interventions, using a case based teaching method, live-case transmissions, and hands-on modelling workshops with Industry. Fellows will enjoy a very interactive educational dialogue with an outstanding faculty dedicated to dynamic understanding of both the art and science of Interventional Cardiology. The key topics covered will include the following:

  • Fundamentals of Interventional Cardiology including access and closure, coronary artery revascularization, device selection, AUC and SYNTAX scoring
  • Understanding when, why and how to successfully treat multiple clinical and lesion scenarios including STEMI, UPLM, Bifurcations and CTOs
  • Awareness and management of Complications

NOTE: This program is intended to prepare Final Year Interventional Cardiology Fellows for interventional practice.


PLEASE NOTE: Due to high demand, Applications received after January 19th. 2017 will be automatically placed on a wait list. You will be contacted by Gaffney Events if a space becomes available.  Space is limited and acceptance will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Hotel accommodations (room and tax) at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale at Gainey Ranch for the nights of Wednesday, March 8th, Thursday, March 9th, and Friday, March 10th will be covered. A round-trip coach airline ticket will also be reimbursed, based upon the Fellows Course Guidelines. No International Travel will be covered. Attendance at the SIF General Sessions is required and Full SIF Registration Fees are waived.
